Barbara L. Venezia (nee Curtorillo), age 95, of Burlington, and formerly Pennsauken, NJ & Clearfield, PA, on March 13, 2021.
Beloved wife of Frank (Sr.), devoted mother of Frank (Jr.), Gary, and Lisa. Sister of Jean (Mancini), Jerry, John, Joseph, Mary (Rago), Phillip, Rosemary (Dailey), and Sarah (Diasio), all pre-deceased.
Born in Clearfield, PA Barbara moved to Philadelphia, PA in her early twenties, then Pennsauken, NJ upon marrying Frank in 1959, then to Burlington, NJ in 1965 where she resided until her death.
Barbara was a loyal wife and dedicated mother above all else. Family was her world. She began working after her children began attending high school. Most who knew her recall her jobs at All-In-One Linens in Burlington, NJ and SAMs Club in Cinnaminson, NJ and Philadelphia, PA.
Barbara enjoyed cooking and everything related to taking care of her family and home. Her children always joked that she was most comfortable with a broom in her hand. She also loved the beach and bright sunny days.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 9:00am 10:00am at Davis and Wagner Funeral Home located at 171 Delaware Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:30am at St. Patrick Catholic Church (Holy Angels Catholic Parish), 86 Cooper Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
