Clara Jean Petry

Clara Jean Petry (Pegau), 96, a lifelong resident of Woodbury, passed away on October 29, 2022. She was born on December 7, 1925. Clara Jean received her bachelors degree from Maryland College of Women in 1947. She was a homemaker, an accomplished seamstress, knitter, and quilter, loved to cook and bake, worked as office assistant for her father, Dr. Paul M. Pegau, and finished off her working career in the accounting department for Mobil Oil Corp. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Woodbury.
Clara Jean was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Paul M. Pegau and Ruth (Keller) Pegau, by her husbands Conrad Robert Hock, Kenneth L. Jones, and W. Frederick Petry, and her sister, Virginia R. Easter. She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Kristin) Hock, Rick (Sheri) Hock; stepdaughter, Alice M. Jones, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
