Dorothy Wilson

Dorothy "Dottie" Wilson (nee Gesty) of West Deptford, died on Nov. 29th at Cooper University Hospital. Born in Woodbury, she was raised in Paulsboro (1947 graduate of Paulsboro High School), and has resided in West Deptford for the past 30 years. Dottie's favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles and playing cards, especially bridge. As an avid cat lover, you will find cat memorabilia throughout her home. Her friends and neighbors will surely miss her caring manner and frequent deliveries of her delicious baked goods.
Dottie had a much fulfilled life traveling throughout the US making new friends and new homes with her beloved husband of 58 years Colonel George M. Wilson (USMC, Retired). She was predeceased by her parents Frank & Lena Gesty and beloved sister JoAnn Dinan. She is also survived by her niece Jennifer (Adam) Westphalen (nee Dinan) and their children Adam, Addison, Tyler and Arden of Easton, CT; Uncle Gabor (Bernice) Gesty. Dottie will always be remembered by all her cousins for her methodical ways and the many thoughtful things she did for everyone.
Visitation Wednesday 7 to 9pm & Thursday 8:30 to 9:30am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Thursday at St John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Paulsboro, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
