George W. Cronk, 83, of Woodbury, on March 31 at home. George was born in New York City. He resided in Lake Hopatcong, RiverWinds in West Deptford for 10 years before moving to Brightview Woodbury Lake. George was a Sgt. 1st Class in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, serving 22 years, retiring in 1966. He then worked as a maintenance mechanic for Curtis-Wright in Fairfield, NJ and retired as a security officer from Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County. George was a 32 degree Mason Musconetcong Lodge 151 and a Worthy Patron Northern Chapter #95 Order of the Eastern Star. He was an avid golfer and baseball player.

George is survived by his wife of 60 years Doris K. Brucer; son George W. (Mary) of E. Rutherford; daughter Laurie (Roberto) Burreuzo of Mullica Hill; grandchildren Robb (Marcie), David (Gina), Christopher (Teresa), Erik, Brendan & Kevin & 2 great grandchildren Robbie & Daniela.

Visitation Saturday 7 to 9pm and Monday 10am until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment with Military Honors at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Heartland Hospice 800 Jessup Rd. West Deptford, NJ.
