Geraldine C. Farrell

July 19, 1940 — February 21, 2015

Geraldine "Gerry" C. Farrell, 74, of Ocean City, formerly of Cherry Hill, passed away on February 21, 2015. Gerry worked for Keystone Insurance in Philadelphia from 1958 to 1968. She was a stay at home wife & mother before returning to Banking Operations for Midlantic National Bank in Pennsauken, Inter-Boro Savings & Loan in Cherry Hill and Credit Lenders in Gibbsboro, retiring in 2004. Gerry was a graduate of St. Ludwig's and J.W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School. She was a member of the Queen of Heaven Mothers Bowling, Resurrection Senior Club and St. Damien Senior Club. Well known for her homemade butter cookies, Gerry loved sending little cards/gifts to her grandkids for every holiday; coffee with her best friend, phone calls with her brother, sitting around the table chatting with her in-laws, lunch with the lady bankers, little shared moments of happiness and simple pleasures when surrounded by family, children and grandchildren and hearing the small details of their days.

Gerry was predeceased by her husband of 41 years Robert F. Farrell Sr. and siblings Francis J. Smith & Marion Webber. She is survived by her children Susan (Michael) Innocenzo & Robert F. (Lauren) Farrell Jr.; sister Margaret "Peggy" Petkus; brother William T. Smith; brother-in-law Gene (Maryellen) Farrell; sister-in-law Gwen Smith and 5 grandchildren Matthew, Daniel & Elizabeth Innocenzo and Luke & Sean Farrell.

Visitation 10am Tuesday until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at The Catholic Church of St. Mary 2001 Springdale Road Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME Woodbury, NJ. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Damien Church 1310 Ocean Ave. Ocean City, 08226. Memories & condolences shared at daviswagner.com
