John G. Labenz

John G. Labenz, 82, the son of George and Helen (nee Gallagher), passed away on December 29, 2022. Jack was born and resided in Philadelphia before moving to Sewell 9 years ago. He retired from Herman Goldner Co. as a warehouse supervisor. Jack was a member of the DRYL (Delaware River Yachtmens League) and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Jack is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Cuthbert) Labenz; daughters Christine (Daniel) Chaney of Coatesville, PA, Jacqueline (Ronner) Capaldi of Sicklerville, Elizabeth (Troy) Vasaturo of Lithia, FL & Jennifer (Tilt) Langan of Port Carbon, PA; son Mark Labenz of Philadelphia; sister Dorothy Young of Philadelphia; grandchildren Devin, Brianna, Corey, Taylor, Ronnie & Joshua; brother-in-law Bill Giulian; many step children and their families and dear friend Dolly "Schultz" MacArthur. Jack was predeceased by his brothers James & Thomas Labenz and sister Geraldine Giulian.
Visitation 11am Saturday February 18th until the memorial service at 12 noon at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 171 Delaware Street, Woodbury, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation at glioblastomafouundation.org or the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
