John S. Beck, Sr.

John S. Beck Sr., 70, of Bellmawr, passed away on July 12, 2023. John was born and raised in Philadelphia and has resided in Bellmawr for 17 years. He was a diesel mechanic for UPS Freight in Pennsauken. John was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Air Force, he was an aircraft maintenance specialist who worked on the C-130 airplanes. He loved to scuba dive; he was a military history buff and he loved animals.

John was predeceased by his wife Veronica, son John S. Beck Jr. and his sister Robin Mikle.

He is survived by his daughter Nacole (Fred) Sebelist; step-children Helen Potts, James Potts III (Erica) and Michael Potts; sisters Sherry Beck, Melody Astor & Doris Beck; brother Stephen Beck; grandchildren Nikita T. Scott III, Marcus M. Scott, Amber L. Potts, Lanajsa J Scott, Dennis J. Potts, Melynda L. Potts, Alexis Brown Beck, Nicholas G. Shelton, Christian J. Rodriguez, Evelyn J. Sebelist, and Jolene D. Sebelist; great grandchildren Aaliyah M. Scott, Alexander J. Scott and Tyson N. Scott.
