Jorge E. Montoya

Jorge E. Montoya, 66, of Cherry Hill, passed away on December 28, 2022. Jorge was born in New York City, New York and has resided in Cherry Hill since May of 2000. He was a Criminal Defense attorney of the Office of the Public Defender for the State of New Jersey in Camden from 1987 to 2009. Jorge graduated from Brigham Young University and Rutgers Law School. He was an avid fisherman and loved to play the guitar.
Jorge is survived by his wife Jeanine (nee Brown) Montoya; children Ira Montoya of Cherry Hill, Diana (Jose) Rebollar of Voorhees & Alex (Molly) Perez of Denver, CO; sister Rose Ann (Thomas) Spittle of Woodbury Heights and his grandchildren Leticia & Ariana. He was predeceased by his sister Diana Montoya Goldman.
