Margaret D. Stauffer

Margaret D. Stauffer, lifelong resident of Woodbury and National Park, passed away on January 2, 2022 at age 79. She was born on November 15, 1942 to Horace and Sarah Stauffer (nee Evans). Margaret was beloved by multiple generations of nieces and nephews and many other children beyond her blood relatives whom she baby-sat, chauffeured and generally looked after. She was custodian of building and grounds at National Park Elementary School for 31 years. She appeared in the chorus of West Deptford Little Theater productions, including The Sound of Music, Oklahoma and My Fair Lady. She was a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church of National Park where she sang in the choir and made crafts for veterans and elderly shut-ins. She also volunteered at the Thorofare Fire Hall Senior Citizen Nutrition Center.Margaret is survived by her sister Dolores (Allen) Evans and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers William and David and sisters Mary Hummel, Emma Hummel, Anna May Spirk, Ruth Clements and Lourayne Karvoski.Visitation Friday 9:30am until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ.
