E. Marion Freeman

Marion Freeman, age 90, formerly of Cherry Hill and Mickleton, departed this life on April 15 in Richmond, VA. She was the widow of Howard C. Freeman. They were married 61 years. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Bert H. and Amanda E. (Heller) Fry. Marion (Muzzie) is survived by her brother, E. James Fry; daughters, Karla Lacy of Richmond, VA and Nancy Wagner of Emmaus, PA; grandchildren Heather Monk, Sandra Miller and Daniel Wagner; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Vivienne Monk and Sean and Benjamin Miller.

Marion retired from the Camden County Prosecutors office in 1992 after working 19 years as a legal stenographer. Prior she worked for the Cherry Hill Township Court. She was a volunteer at the Underwood Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church.

Her love of family and the Lord were foremost in her life. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Monday, May 10, at 11:00 am at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 14 W. Cohawkin Road, Clarksboro, NJ. Memorial gifts may be made to the church in her memory.
