Maryellen Farrell

Maryellen Farrell (nee Walsh), 69, of Ocean City, passed away on June 20, 2017 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Maryellen was born in Oneida, NY; graduate of Nazareth Academy and Sacred Heart College, Kansas. She resided in Haddon Township before moving to Ocean City 9 years ago. She was a former IT consultant for American Management Systems, First Pennsylvania Bank, Commerce Bank and TD Bank. Maryellen was a tireless volunteer for the Humane Society of Ocean City receiving the 2016 volunteer-of-the-year award; she also served St. Damien Parish (St. Augustine Church) and various charity Bike-A-Thons, and was a former member and volunteer for St. Rose of Lima Parish in Haddon Heights.
Maryellen is survived by her husband of 33 years, Gene Farrell; surviving siblings include Nicholas J. (Jan) of Wolmesdorf, PA, Helen (Malcolm) Blevins of Royersford, PA & Ginny Rosner of East Rockhill, PA; she is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and fellow HSOC Dog-Walkers. She was predeceased by her parents Nicholas & Mary (Merrick) Walsh, brothers-in-law Robert Farrell & Robert Rosner and sister-in-law Gerry Farrell.
Visitation 9am Saturday June 24th until the memorial Mass at 10am at the St. Augustine Church (St. Damien Parish) 13TH & Wesley, Ocean City, NJ under the direction of Davis & Wagner Funeral Home.
