Mildred Leake

Mildred Leake (nee Kriniske), 95, went home to be with her Lord July 28, 2010. Born in Terryville, CT, she was a long time resident of Clifton, NJ before moving to the Wenonah area in 1980 following her retirement from Bendix (Honeywell) of Teterboro, NJ where she had worked as an inspector in the Flight, Guidance and Test Systems Division.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband William Stewart Leake Jr.; siblings Michael, John, Stephen & William Kriniske of CT, Peter Kriniske of FL & sister Anna Brandt of NJ. She is survived by her beloved children BettyJane (Stan) LaBruna, William Leake & Peter Leake; beloved grandchildren Beth (Keith) Turner, Laurie (William) Clift & Anne-Marie (Ian) Fisher & 2 adorable great grandchildren Noah & Emily Turner.

Mildred was a member of Southwood Baptist Church where she had been involved in Bible studies, Sunday School, and the baby nursery. She belonged to the Faithful Followers, the Christian Women's Club of Gloucester County & the Red Hat Society. Mildred will be remembered for her hospitality, her laugh, her faith & her love.

Visitation Sunday 6 to 8pm & Monday 9am until the service at 10am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ.
