Spohia P. Driscoll

Sophia P. Driscoll (nee Pickens), 91, of West Deptford, went to be home with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 7, 2011. She was born in Bellwood, PA and has resided in West Deptford since 1946. Sophia graduated from Jefferson University Hospital School of Nursing in 1941. She worked as an RN for Jefferson University Hospital, Underwood Hospital, Memorial Hospital, the Visiting Nurses and then retired as a school nurse from Logan Twp. School District in 1984. She belonged to the Colonial Manor United Methodist Church, the Jefferson University Alumni Assoc. & the West Deptford Seniors Club.

Sophia was predeceased by her husband J.J. Driscoll in 2003; 3 brothers Bernon, Cameron, & Roy A. Pickens and sister Becky Cunningham. She is survived by 3 sons John Jr. of Marietta, GA, Robert of West Deptford & David of Washington Twp.; 7 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation Monday 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday 10am until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park.
