Walter Hummel Sr

Walter Hummel Sr., 80, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on May 4, 2016. Walter was born and resided in Verga, West Deptford and has resided in Egg Harbor Township for the past 7 years. Walter was an auto mechanic at Auto Repairs by Dave Hummel; he worked maintenance and ground keeping for the West Deptford Board of Education and housekeeping at Shore Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1997. Walter was an avid fisherman, craftsman, Eagles & Phillies fan.

Walter was predeceased by 2 sons James Allan & Howard Edward Hummel. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Doris (nee Link) Hummel; 3 sons Walter E. (Jacqueline) Hummel Jr. of Clementon, Dale R. (Diana) Hummel of Virginia Beach, VA, and Terry J. (Adeline) Hummel of Winslow Township; daughter Lori A. Marchant of Lady Lake, FL; 2 brothers Harlet (Katherine) Hummel & David (Kay) Hummel; 12 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation Tuesday 10am until the service at 12 noon at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ 08096. Interment in Eglington Cemetery.
