William Lafferty Jr., 90, of New Sharon, Deptford Twp., passed away on Dec. 25, 2008. Son of the late William Lafferty Sr. & Bertha Welsh Lafferty. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Victoria Land Lafferty; 5 children Dorothy L. Bryant of Manheim, PA, JoAnn Andersen of New Sharon, William III of Mullica Hill, Marie Brooks of Placerville, CA & W. Thomas of Hurffville; 13 grandchildren & 25 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 1 grandchild & 1 great grandchild.
William was a life long Hog farmer for 75 years, past president of the NJ Livestock Assoc., member of National FACTS, a nationwide Livestock Assoc., a standing member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge & the Shriners.
Visitation Tuesday 9am until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment in Eglington Cemetery.
