Ann Stanton Grant. April 3rd, 1929 - October 1st, 2009. Born San Marino, California to Filmore and Dorothy Stanton. Raised in Clifton, Arizona, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona and member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Survived by her five children; Leslie Gates, Dianne Jennings, Lynn (Terry) Dennen, Robin (Kent) Coykendall and Robert Grant. Her six grandchildren include Charlie and Molly Dennen, Kelley, Van, Ian and Joseph Coykendall. Annie's two brothers are Allan (Marcia) Stanton, Stephen (Mary) Stanton and her sister Sandra (Clint) Ford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and innumerable friends.
Annie was a high school tennis star, and pursued her love of the game through her life and won multiple Senior Olympics titles in Massachusetts and New Jersey. Her other passions included knitting, sewing, bridge, gardening, traveling, family, laughing and making people smile.
Lover of all things shiny and an inspiration to us all.
