Anthony C. Vitale Jr.

Anthony C. Vitale Jr., 83, of Swarthmore, PA, passed away on September 10, 2023. Anthony, known by his friends as “Luke”, was born in Winslow and resided in Woodbury. Anthony was the owner of Woodbury Cold Cuts from 1973 to 2002 and prior to that worked as a mechanic for DeSimone Cadillac of Cherry Hill. He loved music (and meeting his favorite musicians), shooting pool with his friends, and was an inventor of an instant lottery game for the state of NJ. What he loved most was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 64 years Florence (nee Scordo) Vitale; daughter Rhonda Miele of Swarthmore; granddaughter Samantha Miele; sister Yvonne Galetta; brothers Warren & Larue (Sharon) Vitale and sister-in-law Lynetta Vitale. He was predeceased by his siblings Gene, Regis, & Cornelia.

Visitation Saturday September 16th 9am to 10:30am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am at Holy Angels Parish-St. Patrick Church, 86 Cooper St. Woodbury, NJ.
