Barbara S. Allgood

Barbara S. Allgood (nee Stubbs), 94, of Pitman, passed away on June 10, 2025. Barbara was born in Coatesville, PA; she resided in the Lake Bridge section of Deptford before moving to Pitman. She graduated from Allbright College/Reading Hospital School of Nursing and then was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, DE.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Elic “Frank” Allgood, daughter Kathryn & sister Margaret Showalter. She is survived by her children Edward (Brenda) Allgood of West Deptford, Charles (Lauren) Allgood of Elkton, MD & Laurie (Buckey Hostetter) Allgood of Lexington, VA; grandchildren Amanda, Paige & Edward, Samuel & Thomas and Brent & Ashley and great grandchildren Emma & Josephine.

Memorial service 11am Wednesday June 18, 2025, at the United Methodist Communities at Pitman 535 N. Oak Ave. Pitman, NJ 08071 under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware Street Woodbury, NJ 08096. Private Interment at Arlington National Cemetery.
