Carolyn Jane Hartman

Carolyn Hartman, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 30, 1936 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She loved her home on the creek in West Deptford, New Jersey watching the variety of wildlife.
She was preceded in death by, her spouse, I. Lee "Fuzz" Hartman. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Hartman Carrell; son, David Bradford Hartman (Des); grandchildren, Matthew Carrell (Amanda), Michael Carrell, Keegan Hartman (Ashley), and Sam Hartman (Anna); great grandchildren, Amelia, Ruby Jane and London.
Carolyn attended South Williamsport High School. She received a Masters degree at Glassboro State. After graduation she was a librarian at Pennsville Elementary School. Carolyn was a world traveler and visited all seven continents. She and Fuzz spent their summers in Canada, at Bobs Lake.
Carolyn had many hobbies she enjoyed which include skiing, swimming, playing the viola, bicycling, and running.
She will be dearly missed by friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
