Carolyn L. Wiest

Carolyn L. Wiest (née Stephens), 80, of Williamstown, passed away on August 15, 2026. Carolyn was born in Woodbury and raised in Brooklawn before moving to Williamstown in 1970. She was the Valedictorian of Gloucester City High School class of 1964 and received her bachelor’s degree in education from Glassboro State College. She was an elementary school teacher at Bellmawr Parks School & Bells Oaks School in Bellmawr, NJ, retiring in 2002. Carolyn was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, her pool and she especially loved spending time with her family & friends.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 57 years Richard B. Wiest Sr.; 2 sons Scott (Nicole) Wiest of Ventnor & Richard B. Wiest Jr. of Williamstown; sister Robyn Austin of Woodbury and many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley Wakemen.

Visitation Friday August 21st 10:00am until the service at 12 noon at the DAVIS AND WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ.
