Claire D. Spicer

Claire D. Spicer (nee Mann), 89, of Woodbury, passed away on February 20, 2024. Claire was born in Repaupo, NJ and has resided in Woodbury for 71 years. She worked at the Gloucester County Bank, JM Fields and the Gloucester County Board of Elections throughout the years. Claire was a Lifetime Member and Past President of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Xi Alpha Chapter of Woodbury and received the Order of the Rose Decree and Girl of the Year Award in 1976. She enjoyed traveling to Missouri, vacationing and sitting on the beach in Sea Isle City, sitting on the porch and watching Golden Girls with Aunt Mert, reading, playing poker, card games, and BINGO, but most of all, spending time with her family.

Claire was predeceased by her parents Bernard & Eileen (nee Ramer) Mann; husband of 57 years Walter L. Spicer Jr.; sisters Alice Yarborough, Myrtle Kulbacki & Virginia Mann and her brothers Jackie, Donald, William, Robert & Kenneth Mann.

Claire is survived by her son Walter III (Melanie) of Woodbury; daughter Debbie (John) Annarelli of O'Fallon, Missouri; grandchildren Melissa (Jared) Bouquet of Lake St. Louis, MO & Michael Annarelli of St. Peters, MO; great granddaughters Liliana & Rosalyn Bouquet; uncle Howard Ramer; aunt Mary Ramer; sister-in-law Pat Mann and many nieces, nephews & cousins.
