Daniel Thomas Deleo

Daniel Thomas DeLeo, 59 of Bellmawr, New Jersey, passed away on July 30th, 2021. Dan was born on March 31st 1962 in Woodbury and over the years resided in Wenonah, Manahawkin, and Mullica Hill before settling in Bellmawr over fifteen years ago.
Dan spent most of his career in automotive sales working in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Arizona, and California. After retiring from the automotive industry, Dan went to work for Roto Rooter which afforded him a great schedule which served him well when he was hired for his greatest position of all, being a full-time "Pop-Pop" to his grandsons Maverick and Nolan.
Dan was an avid sports fan. His favorite football team was the Minnesota Vikings. "Skol Vikings!"
Football, baseball, UFC, college ball, you name it, and he would be able to chat with you about any game, tell you his favorite players, past and present and give you impressive stats on each player! From Notre Dame (Mike) to the Jets (Phil), one call and you could count on Dan to be right there next to you rooting on your favorite team.
Dan loved history, TV, and movies. Those loves drove his passion for travel. One of his favorite binge-worthy shows was Mysteries at the Museum. He would often call his daughters and excitedly tell them about some fun historical story, landmark, or hole-in-the-wall, best burger in the world spot that he wanted to check out on the next road trip.
He had a "tough" exterior that would intimidate strangers. But for those who were lucky enough to be around him, those who knew him, knew that he was a big softie with a huge heart. A loyal man and great friend who would do ANYTHING for those he loved.
May his spirit live forever in our hearts.
Daniel is lovingly survived by his daughters Christina Marie (Michael Lee) Cage of Arcadia, California, and Rachel Marie (Tommy) Myers of Deptford, New Jersey; sister Anita Waters; brother David DeLeo; grandchildren Maverick Joseph and Nolan Thomas Myers: his beloved dog, Rocky and cats Paris and London.
