Doreen 'Dee' B. Bruce

Doreen "Dee" B. Bruce, 67, of Woodbury, passed away on February 6, 2016. Dee was born in Point Pleasant, NJ; she resided in Howell, NJ and Chesapeake, VA before moving to Woodbury. She graduated from Freehold Regional High School and was a member of the National Thespian Society and All Shore Choirs. She received her Associates degree from Ocean County College. She was a Navy wife for 25 years. She was a secretary at the Monmouth County Board of Realtors; substitute teacher and past PTA President at Western Branch School District in Chesapeake, VA and volunteered over 1000 hours at the Navy-Marine Corp. Relief Society.

Dee is survived by her husband of 45 years Sr. Chief Dental Tech. Stephen I. Bruce SW USN Retired; son Stephen Jr. (Heather) Bruce of Suffolk, VA; daughters Jannette (John) Bruce of Upper Dearfield, NJ & Pamela (Daniel) Bruce of Kuwait; brothers Timothy (Suzanne) Boyd of Frost Proof, FL & Leonard (Donna) Boyd of Howell; sister Dr. Linda Boyd (Tony) of Philadephia and 2 grandchildren Cameron Stephen & Emily Michelle.

Visitation 1pm Wednesday until the memorial services at 2pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ.
