Dorothy Nickerson Richter

Dorothy Nickerson Richter (nee Jewiss), 92 of West Deptford, NJ died Tues. June 23rd in the home of her daughter with her family by her side. Dorothy lived in Philadelphia, PA for a short time, residing in West Deptford most of her life. She met William Nickerson at Soupy Island while he operated the carousel. Dorothy was very active with Red Bank PTA and member of National Park Baptist Tabernacle Church.

Dorothy was a very loving and caring person. She will be missed by all.

Dorothy is survived by her son, William (Bud) Nickerson Jr. of West Deptford; a daughter, Ruth Bornmann of West Deptford; 9 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation 9:30 AM to 11 AM on Friday June 26th at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM followed by interment at Eglington Cemetery. Condolences shared at daviswagner.com
