Eileen Byre Kilian

Eileen Byre Kilian, 80, a lifelong resident of Hillside, passed away on October 24, 2017. Eileen was a teacher at St. James School in Springfield and a homemaker. She was an active member of St. Catherine of Siena Church where she received the Jubilee Medal and the Millennium Award for her dedicated service. She was a 50-year member & Past President and of the Elizabeth Garden Club and a member of the Family & Children Services of Elizabeth.
Eileen is survived by her husband Douglas Kilian; daughter Jessica (Scott) Jarmer of Ocean Grove; sister Ann (Patrick) Growney of Lavallette and 3 grandchildren Michael, Sam & Molly.
Visitation Friday 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm at the Growney Funeral Home 1070 N. Broad St. Hillside, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial 9am Saturday at St. Catherine of Siena Church 1000 N.
