Elana M. Vogel

Elana M. Vogel (née Shilkaitis), 79, of Mt. Royal, passed away on August 6, 2026. Elana was born in Chicago, Illinois; she resided in Tampa, FL before moving to Mt. Royal seven years ago. She was an Interior Designer; she graduated from Triton Community College and the Art Institute of Chicago; she was also a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She enjoyed golf, cooking, the Cubs, she tolerated the Bears and especially loved spending time with her family.

Elana is survived by her husband of 45 years James M. Vogel; sons John R. (Min Suk) Oto, Michael W. Oto & Eric J. Oto; siblings Eugene, Shirley, Wayne, Eddie, Jimmy, Dave, Pat, Kathy & Tom; and her grandchildren Amanda, John J., Aiden & Addyson.
