Elizabeth L. Clow

June 22, 1927 — December 29, 2016

Elizabeth L. Clow (nee Bell), 89, of West Deptford, passed away on December 29, 2016 surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Woodbury and resided in the Colonial Manor home built by her late husband and high school sweetheart Jack since 1956. As a young woman, she worked at Underwood Hospital as Dr. Underwoods secretary. In addition to being a devoted Mother who enjoy traveling and boating with her family she was an excellent seamstress and knitter.
She volunteered as the Gloucester County March of Dimes Campaign Chairman and later served as the organizations Executive Director for Gloucester, Camden and Salem counties. Betty was a Past Matron of Woodbury Chapter #109, Order of Eastern Star and a Past Grand Officer; Past President of United Methodist Women of Beach UM Church in Ft. Myers, FL and an avid Square Dancer
Betty was predeceased by her husband Jack D. Clow. She is survived by her son Ted & daughter Joanne (Fred) Lock both of West Deptford; sister Ida Dobbins; 4 grandchildren Kelli (Stephen) Ryan, Rebecca (Jason) Thompson, Deanna & Taylor Clow & 3 great grandchildren Hanna, Jake & Corrin.
Visitation Tuesday 9am until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations be made to the Colonial Manor Fire Assn, PO Box 753, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Memories and condolences shared at daviswagner.com
