Eugene C. Menegon, 76, sadly, on Oct. 21st, beloved partner of the late Robert DuBree.
Gene, as he was known to most friends and family, was an artist. A graduate of the Pittsburgh Art Institute, he was a successful advertising artist and director at Gimbels, Pittsburgh and Strawbridge & Clothier, Philadelphia. A long-time actor and member of Plays & Players, he also enjoyed painting, working with clay, collecting art & antiques, music & entertainment.
Gene's spirit, optimism and sense of humor brought great joy to his many friends. Among those who will miss him most are his niece, Marianne Kelly and her husband, Bob; cousin Peggy (Pessavento) & Ralph Bird; dear friends Evie & Ron Taylor, Keith Shively, Tom Williams, Chris & Dan McGee, & Mary Ann Leone. Predeceased by his parents, Deno & Dorothy; brother Joseph & sister-in-law, Joanne.
Gene never failed to make people smile. He will be missed by myriads of people who loved him dearly.
Visitation Sunday 2 to 4pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment with Military Honors 11am Monday at George Washington Memorial Park, Blue Bell, PA.
