George F. Mitzel Jr

George F. Mitzel Jr., 70, passed away on March 8, 2017. George was born and raised in Woodbury; he resided in Mantua before moving to Lords Valley, PA 8 years ago. He was an Instrument Technician for Sony in Pitman. He was a member of the Ham Radio Club of America; his radio handle was N2VO. George was a pilot, he enjoyed flying his piper planes and was a member of the Flying Eagles Airplane Club.
George was predeceased by his wife Laura Salvatore; parents George F. Mitzel Sr. & Betty Jenkins and sister Lora Lewis. He is survived by his sisters Marianne (Craig) Constable of Woodbury & Susan Brzeczkowski of West Deptford; many nieces & nephews; beloved dogs Quincy & Zeus and many friends, especially in Lords Valley.
Visitation Wednesday 9am until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
