Harold E. Hunter, 86, of Woodbury, on January 26, 2012. Harold was born in Harrisburg, PA and has resided in Woodbury for 66 years. He was a petroleum chemist for Exxon Mobil in Paulsboro, retiring in 1984. Harold served in the US Navy in the Philippines during WWII. He was a member of the Woodbury Kawanis Club, especially active with the Terrific Kid Program; he was on the Phillies Welcome Staff and did other volunteer work.
Harold is survived by his wife of 64 years Mariea Buffum Hunter; son Bruce E. (Christy) Hunter of Apple Valley, CA; daughter Janis A. Howey of Gordo, AL; 2 grandchildren Robert E. Hunter & Audrey H. Motorna and 3 great grandsons Gordan, Xander & Ian.
A private funeral will be held under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES Woodbury, NJ. Memorial contribution may be made to the Woodbury Kawanis Club. Memories & condolences shared at daviswagner.com
