Irene C. Banks

Irene C. Banks (nee Loreth), 95, of West Deptford, passed away on February 6, 2025. She was born in Williamstown and has resided in West Deptford since 1974. Irene was a manager at Lit Brothers department store in Camden and then at K-Mart’s restaurant in Mantua. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church at Woodbury and enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

Irene was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2008. She is survived by her sons Frank M. (Gail) Banks, MD & Mark E. (Kathleen) Banks; sister Bertha “Bobbie” Simon; brother Eugene “Gene” Loreth; grandchildren Jennifer (Joseph) Alberici, Mark E. (Ann) Banks Jr. & Dena (Chris) Goldberg; great grandchildren Nicholas & Matthew; nephew Jim Fulbrook; good friend & caretaker Janet Earnhart and many loving nieces & nephews. 

Visitation 10am Saturday February 22nd until the memorial service at 11am at the Presbyterian Church at Woodbury 67 S. Broad St. Woodbury, NJ 08096. Inurnment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church at Woodbury.
