J. Howard Jones

J. Howard Jones, 94, of Woodbury, on June 14, 2010. Howard was born in Philadelphia and moved to Woodbury in 1921. Howard was a 1st class mechanic before becoming a manager for Mobil Oil in Paulsboro. He served as a Lieutenant in the Army during WWII and Korea. He was a member of the Woodbury Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the Gloucester County Bottle Club.

Howard was predeceased by wife Dorothy Elliott Jones. He is survived by his son Howard of Baja, Mexico; daughter Sandra L. Butler of Woodbury; 2 brothers Stanley & Norman Jones; 2 sisters Eleanor Foulk & Betty Avis; 13 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
