James “Jim” Robert Hawkins, Jr., 54, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Jim was born on May 24, 1970, in Woodbury, NJ and was a lifelong resident of West Deptford Township.
Jim was a graduate of West Deptford High School after which he worked for Russo Plumbing for many years. Jim grew up with a passion for the outdoors. He loved to go camping and hunting. Jim was also known for being a Harley Davidson enthusiast.
Jim is survived by his mother Doris (Warner), his niece, Destiny Hawkins, his sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Donlan), and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Hawkins, Sr, and by his brother, Scott.
Jim will be remembered for his ability to make everyone laugh and his generous spirit. Jim chose to give the ultimate gift – the gift of life- through organ donation.
Visitation Monday May 12th 10am to 12pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware Street Woodbury, NJ 08096. In lieu of flowers, the Family asks that donations be made in Jim’s memory to Apha-1 Foundation.
