James R. Verfaillie, 68, of West Deptford, passed away on April 11, 2026. Jim was born in Woodbury; he was raised in West Deptford, resided in Mullica Hill before moving back to West Deptford in 2009. He graduated from West Deptford High School class of 1976. He was a salesman for the Decks USA in Mullica Hill. Jim was an active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, serving as a Deacon and on Council. He was a wrestling coach and referee for West Deptford and Clearview youth wrestling programs, and Jim was an avid fisherman.
Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years Bunnie (nee Wallace) Verfaillie; children Nina & Brandon Verfaillie; brother Bud (Peggie) Verfaillie; sister Denise Verfaillie (Michael Magnus); brother-in-law Alan Harker and many nieces & Nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Dale (Frank) Verfaillie Chant and Dianna Verfaillie Harker.
Visitation 10am Saturday April 18th until the memorial service at 12pm at St Paul's United Methodist Church 74 Church St. Thorofare, NJ 08086 under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware Street Woodbury, NJ.
