Joanne B. Brown

Joanne B. Brown, 79, a life long resident of Woodbury, died on March 18th at home. Joanne worked as a secretary for the Presbyterian Church at Woodbury, then for the Gloucester County Special Services School District, retiring in 1994. Joanne was a life long member of Presbyterian Church at Woodbury and a member of the Woodbury Garden Club.

Joanne was predeceased by her husband Clayton W. Brown Jr. She is survived by her children Carol Sue Schaaf of Woodbury & Richard S. (Celeste) Brown II of Thorofare. Predeceased by her sister Marilyn B. Vennell, she is also survived by her sister Carol A. Bowersox; nephew Bruce Vennell; grandchildren, Allison (Ryan) Egli, Kelly Schaaf, and Lauren & Kyle Brown; and 2 great grandchildren Jacob & Benjamin.

Memorial Service 10:30am Sat. March 27th at the Eglington Mausoleum, Clarksboro, NJ under the direction of the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, Woodbury, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holy Redeemer Hospice 150 Ninth Avenue Runnemede, NJ or the Woodbury Garden Club c/o Shirley Robinson 683 Barlow Ave., Woodbury, NJ.
