John D. “Jack” McMichael, 78, of National Park, passed away on April 20, 2026. Jack was born in Philadelphia and has resided in National Park since 1957. He was a plumber in the UA Local 322 and a plumbing inspector for National Park, for 47 years, retiring in 2005. Jack served in the US Navy from 1966 – 1970. He was the Past Commander and a lifetime member of the Army & Navy Union Garrison No 52, National Park. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, golfing, crabbing and helping others.
Jack was predeceased by his wife of 56 years Diana C. (nee Haines) McMichael and his sister Lee. He is survived by his sons Joseph and his wife Tina McMichael of West Deptford, Scott McMichael and his girlfriend Rose of National Park and Michael and his wife Kristina McMichael of Deptford; his twin brother Patrick and his wife Judy of West Chester, PA; grandchildren Ryan and his wife Erin, Tyler, Joey Jr., Jessica, Rod, Taylor, Michael Jr. and Avery and his great grandchildren Hailey, Hayden, Elyse, Rylie and Sofia.
Visitation Monday April 27th 9am until the memorial service at 12noon at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware Street Woodbury, NJ 08096. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Army & Navy Union Garrison No 52, 26 Riverview Ave, National Park, NJ 08063, Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org or to Wounded Warrior’s at woundedwarriorproject.org.
