John Thomas (JT) Cronin, 93, of Deptford, passed away on November 23, 2020. He was born in Philadelphia and served in the Pacific Theater until he was honorably discharged as Seaman, 2nd Class in October 1946. Afterwards he moved to South Jersey and started a family. He retired from Philadelphia Gas Works where he worked in the Customer Service Department. He was a voracious reader, loved world-wide travel and spent time watching cowboy movies as well as Sherlock Holmes.
John was predeceased by his first wife Margaret (nee Ackler) and son Edward. He is survived by his children John Jr. (Jerilyn), Michael (Catherine), Gerard (Eve), Christopher (Michelle) and Bernadette (Anthony) Gismonde; grandchildren Alexander, Kevin, Timothy, David, Margaret, Michael, Vanessa, Raymond, Titus, Michael, Christin Maya, Eva Rylee & Mary Elizabeth; great grandchildren Emily, Brooklyn, Beau, Jamal, Tyrone, Easton, Jayden, Leo & Ivy and siblings Marie & Edward.
