Kenneth R. Steele

Kenneth R. Steele, 67, of Marlton, passed away on July 21, 2012. Ken taught high school choral music in Texas for twenty-six years, prior to retiring in May of 2000. He served as music director for several churches, as well. He earned a Bachelor of Music in Church Music and Voice at Stetson University (Florida) in 1966; completed his Masters of Music In Choral Literature and Conducting at the University of Texas, Austin, He is active in ACDA, TCDA, NJ-ACDA and AGO. He is a clinician, an adjudicator and presenter at competitions, conferences and conventions. Ken was the organist & choirmaster at Kemble Memorial United Methodist Church for the past 9 years.

Ken is survived by his wife Diane (nee Bethea); daughter Laurie Elizabeth Lausi; son Brian K. Steele; 2 sisters Jan Earley & Wanda Green & 6 grandchildren Timothy, Benjamin & Katie Steel and Justin, Sarah & Connor Lausi.

A Memorial Service will be held 7pm Monday July 23, 2012 at Kemble Memorial United Methodist Church 19 S. Broad St. Woodbury, NJ 08096.
