Mark E. Bassett

Mark E. Bassett “Smele”, 65, of Elmer, passed away on January 4, 2024. Mark was born in Camden; he resided in Pennsauken for 27 years before moving to Elmer 16 years ago. He was a member of the Local 252 Carpenter Union for over 30 years, working as a cabinet maker for Trade Images in Buena.

Mark is survived by his wife of 45 years Karen (nee Youse) Bassett; 3 sons Mark Jr. of Elmer, William (Patrice) of Franklinville & Joseph (Ashley) of Elmer and grandchildren Joseph Marcus, Jaxon, Cole, Joseph Jr. & Lucas. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond and his sister Margaret Witkowsky.

Visitation 3pm Saturday January 13th until the service at 4:30pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ.
