Paul E. Shirley Sr.

Obituary
Paul E. Shirley Sr., 76, of West Deptford, passed away on September 10, 2021. Paul was born in Sandusky, Ohio and moved with his Navy family to Great Lakes, IL & New London, CT prior to moving to West Deptford as a child. He and his wife Grace lived in Mt. Laurel prior to her death. He graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1964. After graduation he attended computer programmer/operator classes and was an usher at the old Wood movie theater in Woodbury. Paul joined the US Air Force and served his country for 23 years & 3 months in Greece, Guam, Saudi Arabia, Oklahoma, Dover, DE and the Pentagon in Washington DC. After leaving the military, Paul worked at EDS and First Fidelity.
Paul was predeceased by his wife Grace and his parents Charles Sr. & Helen Shirley. He is survived by his children Paul Jr., Robert (Angel), Theresa (David) Eiger & Timothy Shirley; stepchildren Patricia (Dan) DiBartolomeo, Howard (Robin) Reed & Allison (Christopher) Thomas; brother Charles Jr. (Diana); sister Sue Ann Shirley and 12 grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
Visitation Thursday 9am until the service at 10am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment with Military Honor Eglington Cemetery.
