Penny Mcparlen Scott

Penny M. Scott, 78, of Thorofare, passed away on January 31, 2022. Penny was born in Camden and raised in Barrington, NJ. She resided in Woodbury most of her adult life before moving to Thorofare 20 years ago.
Penny is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Helen McParlen (nee Morrison) and is survived by her children Robert W. Scott III of VA, Thomas "TJ" (Rochelle) Scott of FL & Victoria "Tori" Scott-Wishnick of West Deptford. She is the loving "Grandma Penny" to John (Lauren), Ashley, Annie, Emma, Richard (Nicole), Shannon, Tommy, Nathan, Noah, Andrew & Jacob.
Penny worked as a bookkeeper and a legal secretary in Woodbury at the Law Firms of George and Korin as well as Cresse and Carr. Penny was an avid reader and storyteller. Her favorite spot was at Lake Garrison in Monroeville, NJ where she would look out to the lake and watch the swans while drinking a cup of coffee.
A memorial service will be held at a future date under the direction of DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES Woodbury, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
