Rosemary Tyrrell

Rosemary Tyrrell, 79, Passed away peacefully at home with loved ones by her side on Friday, September 15, 2023.

Rosemary was born on October 28, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA to Joseph Aloysius Loughran and Anne Theresea (Hughes) Loughran. Rosemary graduated from St. Maria Goretti High School in South Philadelphia 1962. She was Miss Pennsylvania in 1965. She went on to compete in the Miss Universe Pageant where she placed 1st Runner Up. She was a resident of Oxford, MD and was top chef and co-owner of Chatterbox Café and everyone remembers her incredible “Rosie’s sauces”. She later was a resident of Palm Coast, Florida. Rosemary is survived by her children , Joseph Diamond, Peter Tyrrell, Carmela Dottoli and husband Steven Dottoli, grandson Stephen Dottoli, her sister Carol Sullivan, brother Michael Loughran and wife Cookie Loughran, brother Charles Loughran, and her sweet dog Sadie. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Tyrrell, Rosemary’s son Christopher Diamond, Grand Daughter Ericca Diamond, her sisters Joanne Kullman, Helen Brennan, and Bonnie Vukovich. Rosemary is best remembered for her unwavering, selfless love and loyalty as a mother, a family member, and a friend. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to The Humane Society or St. Jude’s Cancer Center.
