Shirley E. Miller

Shirley Esther Miller, age 93, passed away on July 6th. She was the daughter of Ernest and Esther Galloway of Woodbury, NJ. Shirley grew up in Woodbury and graduated in WHS Class of 1946. She married Carl Miller, of Pitman, and they had 55 happy years until Carl passed in 2004. They enjoyed many vacation trips and spent winters in Fort Myers Beach, FL. Shirley returned home to Woodbury Heights in 2018, her home since 1968.
Shirley was a retiree of Owens Illinois in Glassboro. She enjoyed singing in a choir and pinochle with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Don) of Sewell, two grandsons Scott Adams (Katie) and Jake (Elizabeth), as well as seven great grandchildren, Justin, Samuel, Marlee, Aurora, Mac, Hunter and Charleigh. She is also survived by a sister Carol Schiller (Thomas) of Shamong, NJ.
Shirley was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Woodbury, NJ, and was a member of Fairview Chapter #219, O.E.S. of NJ.
