William A. Holdstein

William A. Holdstein, 89, a lifetime resident of Woodbury, passed away on February 20, 2024. Bill was a color technician for Shell/Huntsman Corporation in West Deptford from 1959 until his retirement in 1993. Bill was “Mr. Fix it,” he loved animals, tropical fish, classic cars, trains, and he was a huge history buff.

Bill was predeceased by his wife Joan (nee Gallagher); son Daniel; brothers Charles, Wally, & Bruce and sisters Mildred, June & Vivian. He is survived by 2 daughters Colleen (Stephen) McBride of Westville & Denise (Bob) Postorivo of Glassboro; son Michael of Woodbury; sister Connie Yust of Florida; daughter-in-law Lizabeth A. Holdstein; 6 grandchildren Allison (Nick) Domico, Corey Postorivo, Tyler (Alexis) Postorivo, Kevin (Brianna) Holdstein, Kyle Holdstein and Derek Holdstein & 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation Monday 10am until the service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org. Memories & condolences shared at daviswagner.com
