William G. Ripley Sr.

William G. Ripley Sr., 82, of West Deptford, passed away on May 19, 2021. Bill was born in Philadelphia; he was raised in National Park before moving to West Deptford in 1966. He was an engineer at Boeing Helicopters in Ridley Park, PA for 45 years and the Secretary of the West Deptford Zoning Board of Adjustments for over 30 years. Bill served in both the US Navy and Marine Corp.
Bill was predeceased by his wife Virginia (nee Goslin) Ripley, daughter Sandra Ripley, son David Ripley, brothers Robert and Lenard and sisters Margret & Patricia. He is survived by his son William (Nancy) Ripley Jr. of Swarthmore, PA; brothers Franklin of WA, Charles of West Deptford, Joseph, George of FL and John of National Park; grandchildren William III & Rebecca Ripley, John Del Vecchio and James Schlegel and great grandchild Peyton Schlegel; He is also survived by his good friend Faye Daum
Visitation 9am Saturday May 29, 2021 until the Memorial Service at 11am at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, N.J. Inurnment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
