William R. Padbury

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of William R. Padbury, 89. Bill was born in Philadelphia PA and resided most of his life in Langhorne, PA, before moving to NJ 10 years ago. He worked for Bell of Pennsylvania for 36 years in the Installation and Repair department. Bill served the Army for 2 years, then the Army Reserve for 6 more years.

Bill enjoyed working in his yard, walking his dog, spending time with family, social breakfasts with fellow retirees and he loved rooting for those Phillies!!

Bill is survived by his wife of 68 years Shirley Padbury (nee Arrow); daughters Lori Flak (Michael) ; Sharon Padbury (Jackie) & Barbara Engle (George); and six grandchildren: Anna Jones, Allison Engle (fiancé Austin) , Lindsay Engle, William Flak, Keira Flak and Kristina Flak. He was predeceased by parents John C. Padbury Sr. and Elizabeth; his brothers John “Jack” Padbury & Alfred Padbury.

Interment with Military Honor at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. will take place on April 1, 2025 at 2:00pm.
